A Pretty Good Score

Let me know if you all decided to visit the college and the Blue Ridge Institute.  The Institute just finished an expansion and I have not been in there yet. I would expect they will have an exhibit running that you will find interesting.  If you come to Ferrum via Floyd, Shooting Creek Road Rt 860, and then 40E, you will be going right by the small loop road that we live on.  Four miles from there to Ferrum.  It would be great for Donna and me to meet up with you guys either here or at the BRI then maybe get lunch, supper or something.  Sadly, the Crooked Road Cafe has not reopened since Christmas.  As I understand, the partners are not in agreement.  The couple (that I know) do not want to serve beer while the other partner guy does.  So, the couple is looking for another partner.

Saturday the 26th is the second Chantilly Farm Fest. It is fairly small but a good time and only a couple miles down Rt 860 from Floyd.  Good BBQ too.  Lone River Band and Junior Sisk are there this year plus others from the region.  I am thinking of camping up there this year if Donna wants.  I enjoyed the day trip last year but am thinking it may have a developing camp jam thing...or I can instigate one. 

OK, and that was Lonesome River Band. Sometimes I type too fast. Well, I'll go to the Fest for both of us.
