I vote for BROKEN JOE! I'd do whatever it takes to get them.  Check them out on Utube.

I sat with Jim Mcbride in the front row to watch Walter Tore.  I laughed and cried and went through lots of emotions. It was a classic all the way. My expectations were far surpassed.  A humble man in his prime, I enjoyed the world according to Walter Tore.  Walter I must say you are a brave man coming up with so much off the cuff. Can the Bean continue without this sensation? It's all up to John, but my firm vote is in. Walter Tore rules! Thumbs Up  I was very entertained !

1/2 fast,

Your Walter Tore poem is extremely well written. I'm very impressed. I see why Walter will hang it on his wall forever. It is my opinion that this is your best work of art on the forum to date.

I really love the one man band thing, maybe a duo, but a whole band tends cover up true talent. I would like to suggest:
Ben Prestage

I don't know if these single acts work on the big stage,  One or two maybe, but not in a row.  We used to have a big tent for acoustic acts and they worked very well there.  Who knows, the times they are a changin', maybe the quieter acts will rule the Bean some day.  Until then, how about Paul Lamb and the Kingsnakes, or hey, how about Crazy Larry?, nothing quiet about his band!

I like all the suggestions. . I'll add my plug for Mike Stevens for the advanced harmonica.

A good day show guy would Tommy Johnson, the boogieman piano player.
